Research interests & research expertise

Dr Gray completed a PhD at the Australian National University (Canberra) whilst based at the Australian Institute of Sport. His research interests have focused on the biochemistry and molecular biology of exercise, including the genetic basis of human performance. He and colleague, Professor Angela van Daal have recently received grant support from the Anti-Doping Research Program (Canberra) to conduct research into the detection of human growth hormone as a banned ergogenic aid.
