Synopsis
This subject presents the fundamental philosophy, concepts, standards and procedures of auditing in a public accounting framework. Ethics, legal responsibility, objectives and the independent role of the public accountant are stressed throughout.
Prior Knowledge
Students must have successfully completed ACCT11-100 Introduction to Accounting prior to undertaking ACCT13-305.
