University Subject Timetable SynopsisThis course extends material presented in Fundamentals in Finance/Financial Management examining the financial decisions made by corporations. Emphasis is on the applied aspects of corporate finance. Advanced topics studied include: valuation, advancedcapital budgeting issues, capital structure, dividend policy, risk and return analysis, cash & working capital management and corporate governance. Classes will involve formal lectures, class discussion and tutorial problem sets. Prior KnowledgeStudents must have successfully complete FINC12-200 Fundamentals of Finance or equivalent in order to undertake FINC13-301. |
