Synopsis
This subject involves a detailed examination of the main principles and rules of evidence in both civil and criminal proceedings. The practical application of the rules of evidence in the court is canvassed. This subject aims to develop students' proficiency in integrating principles, evidence and the use of facts. In addition to lectures, students participate in small group sessions designed to develop the skills of investigating, analysing facts and advocacy in order to enhance an understanding of boththe principles of evidence and skills used in legal practice.
