Synopsis

Clinical Exercise Testing II will extend the learning and content gained in Clinical Exercise Testing I. In particular, Clinical Exercise Testing II will examine and interpret the physiological responses of healthy older persons, well trained individuals across the age span and patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and obesity. A significant component of student learning in Clinical Exercise Testing II will be done by "blinded case studies". Newer technologies used in Clinical Exercise Testing including non invasive diagnostic imaging and remote sensing will be considered. Clinical conferences will be an important learning strategy.
