Synopsis
This subject concentrates on the theory and practice of valuation methods appropriate for investment class real property. Specific topics include: valuation formula; time value concepts; basic capitalization and cash flow techniques; valuation of varying incomes, terminating incomes and interest less than freehold. The subject adopts a practical approach to a range of real property issues through lectures, practical fieldwork and case studies.
Prior Knowledge
Students must have successfully completed SSUD11-200 Principles of Property Valuation and LAWS10-204 Principles of Property Law to undertake SSUD12-230
