Synopsis
This subject provides a general introduction to research methods and will cover three broad topics: research design, data collection, and data analysis. By the end of the course, students should be able to: formulate good research questions and design appropriate research, collect data using a variety of methods, analyse both qualitative and quantitative data, and critically evaluate their own research and that of others.
