Synopsis
This subject focuses on the design of urban settlements whose layout and functional capabilities are created to meet society's and the whole community's long term social, environmental and economic needs. Sustainable cities adopt an integrated approach to land use, transport, buildings, open space, infrastructure, management systems, social facilities and programs.
